A big matchup was contested on this week’s edition of WWE Raw. It was the go-home episode of the flagship programming for Wrestlemania 34 which is why a jam-packed episode was much needed.
Hence, the contest between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor helped the officials to hype it up.
There’s no need to tell it explicitly what these two superstars are capable of while competing in the ring. Seth Rollins is known as The Architect in the squared circle who is the modern-day version of Shawn Michaels. So, we can only imagine the quality of match that can be produced when he met the ‘extraordinary man who can do extraordinary things’.
So, quite expectedly, these two delivered an A-star match. The capacity was much higher since they are presently attached to the Intercontinental Championship picture. The champion was present at the ringside to witness this blockbuster contest that forced the crowd to break out into ‘this is awesome’ chants.
After 20 minutes of a roller-coaster ride, it was Seth Rollins who managed to connect with the Curb Stomp to pick up the win. The audience was much satisfied to see this contest which was organized by another superstar who is technically gifted more than anybody, but unfortunately, he can’t wrestle.
According to the reports of Sean Ross Sapp of fightful.com, Tyson Kidd is the one to book this match. In case you don’t know, this former WWE Superstar had recently turned into a backstage producer of the company. Being a part of the Hart Dungeon, he had a vast experience under his name and can use it to the fullest.
Back in 2015, Tyson had a dream run with Cesaro while being the WWE Raw tag team champion. On one night, Samoa Joe botched a move that hurt his neck, badly. Surgery was performed right away to get over from it. But, going forward, he was strictly banned from all sort of in-ring competitions.
With that being said, his career was completely over as a performer. Going forward, WWE gave him the role of a producer which is why he stays at the backstage and books match. Going by the Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor match on WWE Raw from Atlanta, it is certain he is doing an amazing job.
Hopefully, he will continue to give some more of these bookings on live TV.
