WWE News: John Cena Will Love To Play Vince McMahon’s Role In His Biopic 1

When it comes to the Hollywood movies, John Cena is no stranger to them. He has earned quite a reputation by doing numerous films in his career. Movies like The Marine I & II and Trainwreck became quite famous to make him a bonafide movie star.

This is the reason why he has transformed into part-timer’s role in the WWE. He goes into hiatuses after the big events in the WWE to fulfil his Hollywood commitments. The exact same thing happened after Wrestlemania 33, as well.

He was away to wrap up the schedule for his movie, “The Wall” which has released, yesterday. Soon, he will start shooting for the Daddy’s Home-part II movie. The role of a movie star is likely to continue now that his day as a WWE wrestler is limited.

So, it’s quite obvious that he wants to get even bigger roles in his movie career. Recently, a movie was announced on the life of WWE owner, Vince McMahon. WWE studios in association with big production houses will be filming the movie named Pandemonium.

Initial details of the script were leaked on the internet, whereas, it is yet to reveal who will play the role of Mr McMahon. Hugh Jackman is the one who is the front-runner to grab the role. However, no confirmation was given from WWE, yet.

Recently, John Cena appeared in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter and intended to feature in the role. Considering the powerful content, it would be a dream role for any of the established actors there. So, the franchise of the company was also seen interested in playing the colourful character.

“There is a story out there about the life and times of Vince McMahon. Man, I think it is a wonderful script from word one. That would be something I’d love to do, but I feel maybe a different actor should do that movie, just because of how powerful the story is and I would hate for the audience to feel that it is a WWE-produced product.

And that’s not in a bad way, it’s just I want them to feel the emotion that I felt reading the script. I can just tell you that it’s out there and that it’s awesome and man if it were all different, I would certainly love to step into Vince’s shoes.”

The movie would arguably be the best WWE based movie, till date. The company would love to give it a worldwide release to promote their product to a bigger audience.
