WWE started a new tradition to host a show on Facebook. It happened earlier this year when Mixed Match Challenge took place before Wrestlemania season. The creative team of the company came up with the unique idea. Male and female superstars formed mixed tag teams to take part in this series.

Both Raw and Smackdown superstars were part of this weekly edition on Facebook. WWE Hall of Famer, Beth Phoenix returned to do commentary for Mixed Match Challenge. It’s worth to note that Asuka and The Miz won the tournament by defeating the team of Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss.

Now Mixed Match Challenge will be back on Facebook, later this month. It is a direct effect of hosting a successful show on the social media platform. Furthermore, the association of WWE will grow even more prominent with the media giant in future. There were already some rumours of a deal extension between the two parties.

WWE promised to continue the Mixed Match Challenge storylines in between the matches. They will release ‘short-form videos and social content’ on a regular basis to promote the show as much as possible. We expect the announcements of the official matches in due course.
