WWE News: Reason Behind Cesaro Never Getting A Main Event Push 1

It has been more than a couple of years that we were expecting to see Cesaro into the main event scene, permanently but unfortunately, that never happened.

Ever since he became the winner of first-ever Andre the Giant Memorable Battle Royal in 2014, the fans have always backed him. He, in return, has stunned us with his incredible performance inside the ring. However, the creative remained unmoved from their position.

There’s no denying the fact that Cesaro is being considered as the agilest athlete in the current roster of the WWE. However, the booker of both Raw and Smackdown is none other than Vince McMahon, himself and for some unknown reason, the Swiss Superman was never in his good books, at all.

In recent time Dave Meltzer has answered to a fan’s question who asked him what or who is holding back Cesaro from getting the main event spotlight when he just said it’s Vince McMahon. It was a clear indication that the Boss is still not happy to see Cesaro’s in-ring works and has some unknown vendetta against him.

It’s not the very first time that veteran wrestling journalists pointed out the fault in Vince’s booking. Previously Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Newsletter has stated that how the chairman finds Cesaro boring despite the incredible stunts pulled off by the super athlete. These were his quotes:

“The craziest thing about Cesaro is, you know how he’s great in the ring, and he has great wrestling charisma, and he looks great, and he always wears a suit, and somehow Vince McMahon finds the man boring. That’s the whole reason why he’s not getting a push.”

When it comes to the main event booking, Mr McMahon has some unknown criteria which are understandable only to him. Going by these reports it is quite evident that Cesaro will not get into the title picture, soon. This means that WWE will be wasting yet another talent who had all the potential to become a marquee player in the company.

Currently, he and his tag team partner, Sheamus has turned into a heel in the Payback PPV to change their on-screen character. Hopefully, this turn might help him in the long run. Also, a potential tag team title run might be in store for the Professional Warriors.
