WWE News: Reason Why Roman Reigns Might Main-Event Evolution PPV 1
courtesy youtube

WWE Universe might not like the idea of Roman Reigns main-eventing Evolution PPV. But it looks like there’s no easier way for the company to do it. This is the guy who sells out nights on a regular basis. So they can surely put him on the card despite the show being an all-women PPV.

We have previously reported that a Universal title match would be on the card. Braun Strowman is likely to become the new champion cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Roman Reigns at Summerslam. It would set up a rematch at the Evolution PPV with women surrounding the ring.

Alexa Bliss would be on the corner of Strowman, whereas, the rest of the women’s division will be backing up Roman Reigns. He will defend the honour of the entire female roster, whereas, Bliss will play the heel in this storyline. Apparently, this might be a masterstroke from the creative team to put him over.

Fans are nowhere near to support Roman Reigns now that he is back into the Universal Championship picture. But Vince McMahon’s propaganda to keep him as the poster boy of the company will continue. This time around he wants The Guy to defend the honour of the women’s division.

Since this would be a generous cause, fans are likely to get behind him. To emphasize the Big Dog get ‘over’ with the fans, the officials will not bother to turn Strowman into a heel superstar. Check out the comments from the source WWE Worldwide 2.0 Facebook Page,

“The idea is that since Roman is supporting a good cause the fans will not boo him. Braun is expected to play the role of a misogynist. While Roman being his foil playing the activist fighting for the rights of women. The idea is to have Roman make history being one of the two men to wrestle at the All Women’s PPVs.”

We are not sure whether this theory will work out for Roman Reigns or not. Already, the social media has started trolling him for main-eventing Evolution PPV. This is an all-women event and the focus should be towards them. So if he steals the spotlight then a negative backlash might begin once the show gets over.
