WWE announced to shake things up on the recently bygone episode of WWE Raw. Vince McMahon made a rare appearance on the flagship show to confirm that WWE Ratings are not doing well. So things needed to change for good. For now, the entire McMahon family will control things on both Raw and Smackdown Live. No such middleman post like general manager might not be available from now onwards on both the shows.

Apart from this change, there will be some new inclusions to the main roster from NXT. Emerging talents keep on coming on both WWE Raw and Smackdown on a regular basis from the NXT brand. The flow gets heavy sometimes when bigger PPV events like Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania or Survivor Series arrives. We expect the same to happen when 2019 Royal Rumble show goes past and we kick things off for the biggest event of the year.
WWE confirmed that six superstars will debut on the main roster in due course. Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Heavy Machinery, EC3, and Lars Sullivan are these names to change things on either WWE Raw or Smackdown. Currently, there are no confirmations on which superstar will move to which brand. But we do expect some fresh storyline to pick up with their arrivals.
At the same time, the question arises that why would not names like Aleister Black, Velveteen Dream are not on the list? There were speculations going on for a long time that these two bonafide NXT superstars are the main roster bound. But that is not the case in reality. IWNerd.com and John Pollock of Postwrestling.com came up with the reality-based reason behind this.
IWNerd.com reported that the called NXT superstars needed ‘to have defined characters’. Additionally, Pollock stated that WWE management did not want to leave a big void and decided to keep the prime NXT superstars in their spot. That does not mean that their chances are over. “Pollock also mentioned that the reason why it was these six stars and not other top stars was so not to completely leave NXT devoid of established stars to carry the brand and help sell the upcoming tours for NXT. Hence no promotions announced for Kairi Sane, Black, Dream or the Undisputed Era or any others fans were hoping to see.”
Also, some of the WWE officials favored the idea of having more established names from NXT on the main roster. But they could not proceed with the call as higher-ups did not agree to it. So we have to wait a little bit more to get some of the most NXT favorites on the main roster.
