Stephanie McMahon is the commissioner of WWE Raw. She received the role from her father, Vince McMahon. The Chairman of the board appointed his daughter to be the show-runner of the flagship brand of the company.
There’s no one better than the younger McMahon to do this job effectively. She does play a pivotal role in the WWE brand all over the year.
Her last appearance happened on the post-Wrestlemania episode of WWE Raw until she was back three weeks ago. Stephanie McMahon reentered the televised episodes of her show in Albany, New York.
She gave appearances for two consecutive occasions to help to build up the Money in the Bank PPV event. But we could not spot her in this week’s episode.
There’s a huge reason behind this. Stephanie was promoting WWE’s product on another mainstream platform as always. Corey Jacobs of Wrestlingnews.co gave an update on her activities. He suggested the Billion Dollar Princess was campaigning for an Emmy Award nomination for the WWE.
WWE had already arranged a big media event for the same on tonight. There will be several appearances on the red carpet of the evening. Stars like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Roman Reigns, Ronda Rousey, and The Bella Twins will be there. We can certainly expect Stephanie McMahon to be there too.
WWE is trying to insert some of their mainstream categories programs into the Emmy Award 2018 edition. Check out the updates from SportsKeeda.com regarding this,
“There will be a red carpet event with private screenings of some WWE shows. The shows that will be on display include the Raw 25th-anniversary special, the WWE Mixed Match Challenge that aired on Facebook Watch and the WWE 24: Empowered Documentary that aired on the WWE Network.”
The Boss of the flagship show made her presence felt despite being absent. We got to know that she appointed Baron Corbin as the ‘constable’ of WWE Monday Night Raw.
He can overrule things if not happy with Kurt Angle’s decisions. It would be another way to create the friction against current GM of the show.
We expect Stephanie McMahon to be back on WWE Raw on the next episode of WWE Raw. It will be the go-home show for the MITB PPV event. The Verizon Arena in Little Rocks, Arkansas City will be the host of the show.
