Dolph Ziggler is finally getting a push in the WWE. We are still in doubts about this sudden elevation, but the current reports also support the same theory.

The abrupt win of the Intercontinental Championship might take him to a good direction in his career. He deserves the same being a veteran in the company.

Currently, a lot of talks are going on about the push that WWE is giving him. Seth Rollins was a strong IC champion following the Wrestlemania season. Dolph Ziggler came out of nowhere to dethrone him off the title reign the night after Money in the Bank. The way that the show-off won the title was significant.

It is why a reliable source supports the idea that WWE creative team is finally giving this man a push. They have also declared potential reasons for the same as well. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com states there’s a big reason behind pushing the former world champion. The officials are trying to keep him with the company.

Going by the source, the current deal between WWE and Dolph Ziggler will be up around Summerslam. The officials do not want a superstar like him part ways with the company. So they are trying to let him sign a new contract in due course.

The veteran pro-wrestling journalist was hopeful that WWE officials would do the right thing to the show-off. They will give a reboot to the former world champion’s career to keep him in ‘a position of prominence.’ The source also hinted this is the perfect time to re-endorse the career of Dolph Ziggler that has been stale for multiple years.

Here are the quotes from the source, (via Ringsidenews.com),

“If they are going to invest in Dolph and get him to re-up with this company, now is the time to do it. Hopefully, this is a case where they are going to sincerely push him, and they are going to finally make him the asset he’s always been for that company and kinda overlooked.”

It would be a good thing if the push continued for Dolph Ziggler in the WWE. Johnson hinted at this not that kind of insignificant pushes to force him to sign a new contract.

He might go back to the wasteland after the new deal gets active. Instead, it will continue to stay by his side making him a relevant name on the roster.

Currently, his feud against Seth Rollins over the IC title will continue at Extreme Rules.
