The news of The Rock appearing on last night’s WWE Raw was first broken by none other than the man himself. The show was hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California where the Rock was present with his entire production house members to filming the movie around Paige. The movie is entitled “Fighting with my family” and is being co-produced by WWE Studios.
Now, with the Rock present at backstage, the audience certainly can expect that he will come out to entertain them like always. He did the same, last night but not for the televised program. He appeared in front of the audience before and after the show.

It was moments before WWE Raw going on the air on USA Network when The Rock’s music hit the arena to the much delight of the crowd. He walked down to the aisle with his spectacular entrance. He delivered some of his best catchphrases before leaving the stage. Vince McMahon was spotted on the entrance for a few seconds when he joined ‘the Brahma-bull’ on the ramp.

After the main show was over, The Rock made another appearance for the crowd when he said that they were going to film the segment where Paige won the Divas championship from AJ Lee after Wrestlemania. A huge CM Punk chant broke out in the arena.

To a huge shock to the world, the People’s Champ wanted to give the fans a big surprise and called Punk from his mobile. However, he was unable to connect to the former WWE champion and hence had to leave a voice message which said,
“Hey Punk, it’s Rock, this is not a joke. I’m literally calling you from the middle of the Staples Center with about 15,000 strong. I hope you can hear this, again, this is not a rib. They are chanting your name!”
Later, CM Punk responded to the incident by tweeting out the following:
Thanks Los Angeles. Nice to hear from you. @STAPLESCenter
