WWE News: Ronda Rousey Reveals Feeling after Getting Inducted to UFC Hall of Fame

Ronda Rousey has become the first name to enter the UFC Hall of Fame. It was all around a men’s world until this lady arrived.

She changed the so-called definition of the Mixed Martial Arts sports. Women believed they could be a part of Octagon, too. Many such female athletes followed her path, later.

The current WWE superstar created history by becoming the first female champion on UFC. Ronda Rousey was a record-time UFC Bantamweight Champion during the heyday. During this reign, she used to hold an undefeated streak in the UFC. Unlike the WWE streaks, this was something actually significant and much more real.

The main difference between UFC and WWE are that the fights are not real when it comes to the latterly mentioned promotion. All the matches we see in the WWE are the brainchild of the scriptwriters and producers sitting in the back. In contrast, UFC fighters have to bring in legit fights on each of the outings.

It means Ronda Rousey could defeat a series of opponents legit inside the Octagon. So the streak will always remain as one of the greatest accolades to be present in the MMA sports world.

So the decision was right to bring her to the Hall of Fame of UFC earlier this week. The company made the announcement much before though.

Ronda Rousey joined the likes of Forrest Griffin, BJ Penn and Urijah Faber in the Modern Wing. None other than UFC President, Dana White inducted one of the most coveted fighters that she ever had in the company. The path-breaker spoke up in receiving this tremendous honour. She talked about changing the course for the women.
Here’re her words from the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

“I look around and think together we built this, this division, this sport, this revolution. Together, we have redefined what it means to be strong, to be sexy. We’ve changed what it means to ‘fight like a girl.’”

WWE Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon also congratulated her on this occasion. Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey also thanked beloved ones and the fans for getting the highest honour in the MMA world,

“I had so many more to thank than I could have used the time I had the stage for. Everyone I know personally, I can thank in person … last night was for YOU. Thank YOU for watching and letting the adventures of this Venetian judoka with a bad reputation change the world.”

Currently, Ronda Rousey is out of the WWE due to a suspension. She put her hands on the WWE officials following Money in the Bank. So she will have to be absent from WWE Raw for 30 days. But we will get to see her in a ringside appearance during the women’s championship match at Extreme Rules.
