Dean Ambrose has been out of action for quite a long time. There’s no way that the WWE Universe is not missing him.

He is the workhorse of the company who kept all the fans entertained, every single night. For the past four years, he has always been a constant name on every single show hosted by the company.

So, it was quite obvious that his body gave up, at one point. He dealt with a ruptured elbow for quite sometimes in the fall of 2017. Previously, it was supposed to be a minor injury which is why he kept continuing wrestle with it. So, later, it turned out to be a fatal one that led him out of competition for several months.

At the end of the year, Dean Ambrose was forced to undergo surgery on his elbow. As per the updates from WWE, he is supposed to miss almost nine months of his career. It means there’s a long way to go for him before he could make his comeback. Recently, his Shield buddy, Seth Rollins also confirmed it.

The Architect spoke to KFM 94.5 radio station in Cape Town, South Africa during WWE’s tour. While speaking of his fellow member of WWE Raw missing actions, he clarified that Dean Ambrose suffered the devastating injury at the hands of Samoa Joe and The Bar. (In a kayfabe manner)

He has to undergo a triceps surgery which takes a lot of time to recuperate. Currently, the Lunatic Fringe is undergoing the rehab process and should be back. But, we have to wait a bit longer to witness this. As per Rollins’ assumptions, Dean Ambrose will not be back until the summer season.

“He had some pretty extensive triceps surgery earlier this year, so he’s definitely still on the mend and rehabbing. But he’ll be back and better than ever, you wait. Summertime, maybe late Spring. Somewhere in there, I think, whenever that wily guy gets back to normal.”

As you can see, Rollins claimed the former WWE Champion will be back better than ever. The most likely situation for his return would have been seeking vengeance against Samoa Joe and The Bar. However, both of these men have been shifted to the Smackdown brand. So, it is to be seen whether he keeps staying on Raw or go to the blue brand for redemption.
