Stephanie McMahon claimed that WWE is eyeing something huge for years to come. This includes being the top brand going similar to that of Disney, (quotes courtesy stillrealtous.com)

“10-20-30 years from now, there’s no reason we can’t be as big [as] or bigger than Disney. Now that’s a tall order, especially given recent transactions. However, there’s no reason why we can’t get there. You have to dream big, have big, bold goals, and go after them.”

The Big Lead revealed that WWE’s market cap is $5.8 billion whereas Disney’s is $172.7 billion. This hints that the world’s largest wrestling promotion is still a long way to cover if they certainly want to reach the level of Disney. It is one of the famous brands that have different other companies like Lucasfilm, Marvel, Pixar and others under their wings.

This is the reason why sources believed that they would go on to acquire WWE at some point. But that might not be the original planning certainly. WWE officials eyed a global mainstream name over the past few years. Stephanie McMahon played the role of being the brand ambassador for this brand working extremely hard. Multiple global PPV shows also helped them to earn more fame, regionally. Hopefully, the trend continues for years to come under the overlooking of the McMahons.
