As stated on the Bella Twins podcast, they have teased to come out of retirement, someday. The fact that WWE has launched the women’s tag team division can be a proper option for them to make a comeback and enjoy another championship reign in the WWE.
Firstly, it was Brie Bella to call out a quit on her professional wrestling career. She is supposedly going for baby number two with Daniel Bryan in the near future. Surprisingly, Nikki Bella has also joined her younger sister showing her hectic schedule as one of the main reasons.
But now it seems the Bella Twins are thinking of coming back if WWE provides them a suitable women’s tag team title opportunity, (courtesy fightful.com)
“Nicole and I did tell everyone that we are stepping away from the ring, which is true, we are. But we also said that before the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles came into place … This is the thing, for years we were begging for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Begging. We never thought it could truly be a reality. The fact that it is now, makes it extremely tempting for us to go back and fight for them because we’re really the longest reigning, most authentic tag team.”
Nikki Bella added to it saying that they are ‘only real, true blood, tag team’ in the WWE. Plus, WWE is their second home for them. So it’s always good for her to make a return and enjoy some times with the locker room members. Plus, she also talked about the overwhelming support shown by the Bella Twins’ fans.
There have been millions of requests on the social media by the fans who want to see the Bella Twins making the comeback. So Nikki confirmed if the fans want it then that’s the way it is going to be.
Brie Bella again posted a follow-up video on the Bella Twins Youtube channel saying how much tempting the idea would be,
“It’s very tempting, and I’m not going to say, hey, I’m coming out of retirement now, I just might show up one day and take the titles off someone. Who knows? I will say we worked so hard in WWE and the one thing Nikki and I always always wanted were the tag titles, and they’re here, so, I don’t know what that means.”
