WWE News: Update On AJ Styles Suffering Injury At MSG Live Event 1

The Road to Wrestlemania has been struck on some occasions due to injuries suffered by multiple WWE superstars. Apart from these, there was the steroid scandal issue that was supposed to affect multiple WWE superstars. This is why the matches were declared, late for the biggest event of the year. Recently, another injury scare broke out in the WWE, and it involved none other than the WWE Champion.

It occurred at the recent bygone live event hosted on March 16th at the world-famous arena, Madison Square Garden. The show was scheduled to kick-off with a tag team action where AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura were supposed to team up. But, the segment was ruined with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn continuing their alliance and started attacking the title-holder.

Once the beatdown was over, AJ Styles was seen lying in the middle of the ring, visibly hurt. Furthermore, to make people even more worried was the X-sign from the officials present on the spot. This is the signal which is given when a superstar is hurt, legit. Usually, the superstars do sell their injuries in a kayfabe manner.

Later, AJ Styles was helped to the back, and the fans thought that his injury was real. However, to assure the fans, he came out, later in the evening while Shinsuke Nakamura was taking on Kevin Owens in a singles match. When Owens and Zayn started to deliver yet another ambush on the 2018 Royal Rumble winner, Styles ran out to make the save with a steel chair in hand.

Based on this, stillrealtous.com is reporting that there’s no need to worry for those who are concerned over the champion’s health. This was just a ‘work’ to make the fans feel a way that he was hurt. Check out the updates from the source,

“Whether or not it was believed at the time that AJ Styles was injured is beside the point. Because The Phenomenal One soon re-emerged from the back and he brought a friend with him in the form of a steel chair to run off the Yep Movement.

If Styles was injured, there is no way WWE would let him run back out and take part in a physical spot in the ring. The fact that Styles also walked by himself is also a very good sign that he’s okay.”

At this time, AJ Styles is slated to take part in a dream match at Wrestlemania 34 against Shinsuke Nakamura. After going through the rigorous schedule over the entire year, his body might not have felt well on that particular night at Madison Square Garden. Hence, it was a perfect idea from the creative team to give him the night off. More updates should resurface when Styles appears on this upcoming episode of Smackdown Live from Dallas, Texas.
