WWE News: Update on the Injuries of Kane and Kevin Owens 1

Kane and Kevin Owens are the two new superstars on the injured list. WWE officials have already been suffering a lot due to a bunch of superstars dealing with concussions.

Names like Jason Jordan, Dean Ambrose and more are out of the picture since the beginning of this year. It looks like Extreme Rules turned had made things worse for them.

We have seen how the Bludgeon Brothers charged down to Daniel Bryan and Kane at the bygone PPV event. They ambushed the two contenders from the back resulting in an injury. Kane could not compete in the schedule tag team match. Daniel Bryan had to go solo on that night.

Kane tried to save the day by showing up somehow, but that was not enough. Bludgeons put Team Hell No away in a secure manner. Now, WWE.com came up with an update on the injury sustained by Kane. The Monster has completely broken his ankle. Here’s the update from the official website,

“At WWE Extreme Rules, Kane suffered an injury at the hands of The Bludgeon Brothers. Despite returning to action to help his Team Hell No tag team partner Daniel Bryan, X-rays taken on The Devil’s Favorite Demon later revealed that he had suffered a broken ankle.”

It is certain the reunion of Team Hell No might just get cut short with this injury. Kane can’t perform as a result of this concussion leaving Daniel Bryan to pursue a solo career, once again.

Kevin Owens is the other concerned name after Extreme Rules. He took a nasty fall through the commentary table from the top of the steel cage. He was in no condition to stand on his own. The EMTs arrived on the scene to take him out of the arena, after that. WWE.com confirmed that Owens picked up multiple injuries through that nasty fall,

“After a 20-foot descent through an announce table during his Steel Cage Match against Braun Strowman at WWE Extreme Rules, Kevin Owens sustained multiple injuries, including bruising of the shoulder and back, bruised ribs and a neck strain. He will be re-evaluated later in the week.”

There’re some doubts whether these injuries are just part of the storyline angles to keep these two superstars away from the scene. Kane was always a part-timer, and this ankle injury will send him back to political duties. Owens, on the other hand, might get some much-needed time off from WWE TV.
