WWE News: Vince McMahon Does Not Have Problems With A CM Punk Return In Future 1

Fans love to see unthinkable returns when it comes to the WWE. It is a sole characteristic of the WWE programming which makes the company so much unpredictable. There’s a phrase in the pro-wrestling industry which is “never say never” that might suits the best for every scenario of the monumental comebacks to the company.

In recent times, we have witnessed two of the wrestling legends returning to the company who were Goldberg and Kurt Angle. Both of these men left the company on a bitter note. Nobody probably imagined them to be back but that did happen. This fuelled up another scenario that is going to be the ‘return of the century’ if does come out to fruition.

We are talking about none other than CM Punk whom WWE fans literally worship like God. On most of the weekly shows of Raw and Smackdown, loud “CM Punk” chants break out whenever fans feel a little bored. This is a routine thing ever since the Straight-Edge leader left the company back in 2014.

The WWE Universe always wanted him to be back in certain capacity although it might not be a reality considering his relationship with Vince McMahon. Recently the speculations about the same were increased after Dave Meltzer has said that WWE has no problems if he ever decides to make a comeback.

According to the veteran journalist, such scenarios happened in the past where despite the bitter relationships, superstars did manage to come to the same page with the WWE. Hence, this case is no stranger from the rest. These were his comments regarding the same:

“That’s why, no matter what is said, WWE wants CM Punk back and even though CM Punk was adamant about never doing it, history tells you time heals a lot of wounds.”

However, the abrupt return is not possible considering that he is still under a contract with the MMA promotion, UFC. Furthermore, a lawsuit was filed against him by WWE doctor Chris Armann and Colt Cabana which is still not over. Plus, he was pretty unmoved with his decision of never returning to the WWE, ever again. It’s hard to get over with these things, forever. Hence, even if the unimaginable happens, it will be a long-term process.
