The fans were outrageous with the decision of a change in Wrestlemania main event. Vince McMahon appeared on this week’s Monday Night Raw to deliver the blockbuster announcement. He confirmed that Charlotte Flair would be replacing Becky Lynch as the latter will have to go through a suspension period of more than 60 days.

Update on this Wrestlemania main event change

So Ronda Rousey received a new opponent in the form of the seven-time women’s champion at Wrestlemania 35. It is a dream main event no doubt. Also, these two has business to finish from 2018 Survivor Series which is why the match seemed evident to happen at one point. But fans just don’t want to see this considering Becky Lynch.

This superstar with The Man gimmick is all over the place, right now. She is the most popular figure in the pro-wrestling industry who is gearing up for a Wrestlemania main event. No wonder her removal from the spotlight created a major backlash. In fact, it has become the most hated decision made by Vince McMahon.

Apparently, the video posted by the WWE regarding this has received 71000 dislikes which are the highest on their Youtube channel. Previously, the video where Bobby Lashley faced Roman Reigns on Raw last year received 42000 dislikes. Even before that Reigns’ ‘My Yard’ segment was the most hated one
But this recent announcement shattered these two’s record by a long margin.

Charlotte Flair receiving the Wrestlemania 35 match is the most disliked video with the count increasing. It reflects the mind of the WWE audience where they consider The Queen as the most hated superstar of this time. She has already cemented her heel turn from the past couple of weeks onwards via promos.

Becky Lynch injured her knee back at Royal Rumble and denied to get any medical attention from the doctors. This hander her the first suspension from Stephanie McMahon. Later she put her hands on Stephanie to receive the 60-day suspension notice from Vince McMahon. For now, this storyline angle will continue.

It is a pre-planned idea from the WWE creative team where they wanted to involve the audience into the Wrestlemania storyline. It does not matter whether it’s negative feedback. The bottom line is that they do care about Becky Lynch. This support would surely put her back on Wrestlemania track in due course. There’s no way that she is missing the biggest event of the year.
