Another championship match has officially been announced for Night of Champions 2023, WWE Premium Live Event. WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will defend her title against Asuka for the Title at the event set in Saudi Arabia. This will be a rematch from Wrestlemania 39.

On last week’s SmackDown, Bianca got a huge homecoming celebration for becoming the longest-reigning Women’s Champion of the modern era. Starting from Wrestlemania 38, she’s been the champion for over 400 days now. A returning Asuka interrupted Bianca’s celebration by throwing mist on Bianca’s face and indicating that she was still coming for the title at Night of Champions 2023.

This was Asuka’s first appearance on WWE TV since WrestleMania 39. On that night, the 2023 women’s Elimination Chamber match winner, Asuka came up short of winning the Raw Women’s Title from the EST of WWE. Now, it appears that the feud will continue on Smackdown after WWE officially announced the match for Night of Champions 2023.

These main event matches will feature the World Heavyweight Title match, the Undisputed Tag Team Title match, and the rematch between The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar & The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes.
