A year ago, WWE NXT 2.0 started its journey on WWE programming, moving away from the former black-and-gold brand. Vince McMahon made the initial planning and now the brand is under the leadership of Chief Content creator, Triple H. Next week, the brand will celebrate the official inauguration with a couple of championship matches on the card.
Going by the promo released on this week’s WWE NXT, the reigning unified NXT and NXT Women’s Champions, Bron Breakker and Mandy Rose will be on board. Besides two huge title matches will be on the card.

WWE NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes will put his title on the line his title on next week’s episode. His challenger will be decided by fan voting. Ricochet defeated Trick Williams in a singles contest after the latter cost him the title match at Worlds Collide, this past Sunday night. Hayes is currently enjoying his second reign with the WWE NXT North American Championship where he’s already defended against the likes of Tony D’Angelo, Nathan Frazer, Solo Sikoa, Giovanni Vinci, and Ricochet. He won the belt by defeating Cameron Grimes at NXT In Your House event on June 4.

The Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) will challenge WWE NXT Tag Team Titles Champions Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince), next week as the two teams will collide in a traditional tag team title rematch. The stipulation for the match will be decided by fans as they can visit the following link to choose from the given options – a Tornado Tag, a No DQ bout, and a Steel Cage match.
