The fallouts from WWE NXT Worlds Collide 2022 were brought together on this week’s NXT 2.0 weekly episode. The main event of the night saw NXT Champion Bron Breakker and his opponent from the latest bygone PLE teaming up to take on the Gallus faction.
Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin also returned to action in a tag team match. Also, Meiko Satomura was in action on the show that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
– Tyler Bate cut a promo to open WWE NXT about how proud he is to be the first and last and the only two-time WWE NXT UK Champion. Gallus faction came out and said that Bate let the UK down and let the NXT UK brand down.
Bate fired back saying that how Gallus didn’t win the tag titles at Worlds Collide. Gallus then gave a beatdown to Bate but Bron Breakker ran out to make the save and set up a tag team match for later the night.
WWE To Celebrate Goldberg On His 25th WCW Debut Anniversary
– Nikki ASH and Doudrop defeated Toxic Attraction (Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin) in a tag team match as a result of the latter duo costing the formers their tag team title match opportunity at WWE NXT Worlds Collide 2.0. The match lasted for barely 10 minutes when Doudrop caught Dolin with a Michinoku Driver and then connected with a running crossbody for the win.
Toni Storm Not In ‘Ideal’ Position After Becoming AEW Women’s Champion
– JD McDonagh defeated Wes Lee in a back-and-forth contest on WWE NXT. McDonagh kicked out of a Sunset Flip and hit Lee back with a Devlin Side finisher to get the pin the win.
– Former WWE NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satoura defeated Roxanne Perez in a singles match. After escaping a Sunset Flip, Satomura delivered a kick to Perez’s jaw and then the Scorpio Rising for the win. Afterward, Cora Jade attacked Perez with her bat but Meiko send her for a retreat.
WWE NXT 2.0 Results (06/09/22): Ricochet in action
– Ricochet defeated Trick Williams in a singles contest by connecting with Recoil followed by a Shooting Star Press to get the pinfall win.
– Axiom defeated Nathan Frazer in the first match of the best of three contests. The match came to a close after Axiom hit Frazer with a Superman Punch and then with his jumping superkick finisher for the win.
– WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Tyler Bate defeated the Gallus in a tag feam match. Bate got the pinfall win by hitting his finisher on Joe Coffey of Gallus. After the match, JD McDonagh attacked Bate, out of nowhere.
