The first match for the 2021 WWE NXT Great American Bash special has been announced on last night’s episode of NXT. As per, NXT General Manager William Regal, Kyle O’Reilly vs. Adam Cole will go down at the upcoming NXT PPV event.

Regal made the announcement as he and the returning enforcer Samoa Joe broke got involved in a backstage brawl between Cole and O’Reilly. Regal then put stipulations saying that Cole vs. O’Reilly II will be a “straight-up wrestling match” between the two competitors.

O’Reilly previously defeated Cole in an Unsanctioned Match at “Takeover: Stand and Deliver” during WrestleMania 37 Week Night One. WWE NXT Great American Bash will air live from the Capitol Wrestling Center at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, July 6.
