Dar recently recaptured the Heritage Cup by defeating Frazer at WWE NXT Heatwave on August 22. This is his third reign after dethroning Tyler Bate in 2021. Mark Coffey won it in the summer of 2022 but Dar regained it. After arriving on NXT, Nathan Frazer won it, briefly but Dar again regained it a few weeks ago.

The Street Profits returned to WWE NXT

Also, during the latest episode of WWE NXT, The Street Profits – Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins made a surprise appearance backstage as they approached the reigning NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes alongside the NXT Tag Team Champions The Family (Channing Lorenzo and Tony D’Angelo) who were chatting with each other.

Turning their attention to Lorenzo and D’Angelo, The Street Profits were acknowledged for their prior work in NXT which included a run as NXT Tag Team Champions. While it’s unclear if The Street Profits will permanently return on NXT again, Montez Ford made a promise to Lorenzo and D’Angelo.

It appears that after attacking tag teams from Smackdown, The Profits has now turned their attention to Lorenzo and D’Angelo. Previously, they had a run with the NXT Tag Team Titles but now it appears they are gunning for a second run with the titles.
