WWE NXT presented the Gold Rush Night One edition, this week where for the first time, a title from the main roster was on the line. Seth Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Title in the main event of the show. NXT North American Title was also on the line while new number-one contenders for the tag team titles were also determined. Check out the results from the June 20 episode of NXT,
– Wes Lee (c) defeated Tyler Bate in the opening contest to retain the WWE NXT North American Championship with Mustafa Ali being the Special Guest Referee. Lee picked a pinfall win via his Kardiak Kick finisher on Bate.
WWE Raw: Former NXT Champion Returns On June 19 Episode Teasing Big Reunion
– Chase University held a Pep Rally for Thea Hail for her WWE NXT Women’s Championship match against Tiffany Stratton on Gold Rush Night Two. Stratton appeared during the segment and Hail made her tap out with Kimurs Lock submission.

WWE NXT Results (20/06/23): New contenders for tag team titles
– Malik Blade and Edris Enofe defeated Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen and Hank Walker & Tank Ledger in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match to become new number-one contenders for the WWE NXT Tag Team Titles. They will now face Gallus for the titles on next week’s Night Two of Gold Rush tournament.
WWE NXT Results (20/06/23): Raw Underground to be back
– Damon Kemp informed us that he’s bringing back the RAW Underground segment on WWE NXT and will face Eddy Thorpe in such an environment in two weeks. A match could only be won via Knockout, TKO, or Submission under this stipulation. Thorpe then called Damon Kemp’s brother Gable Steveson to train him for the RAW Underground Match.
– Cora Jade defeated Dana Brooke via Referee Stoppage. Escaping the Vader Bomb attempt Cora had Dana locked in the Single Leg Boston Crab submission. The referee stopped the match as Dana was screaming in pain.
– WWE NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Baron Corbin had a verbal exchange ahead of their Title Match, next week.
– Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson defeated Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon in a tag team match. Oro Mensah’s distraction allowed Legend to catch Feroz with a big boot for the win.
– Seth Rollins (c) defeated Bron Breakker to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WWE NXT. Breakker’s top-rope move was countered with a Superkick, Pedigree and then a Stomp to earn Rollins a hard-fought win. Finn Balor attacked Rollins after the match, but NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams made the save to end the show.
