The latest edition of WWE NXT marked the second and final night of the Gold Rush 2023 edition where the NXT Championship match was the headliner. The NXT Women’s and NXT Tag Team Championship belts were also on the line. Plus, the Heritage Cup was defended by the current winner Nathan Frazer on the June 27 episode of NXT at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
– Tiffany Stratton (c) defeated Thea Hail (with Duke Hudson) to retain her WWE NXT Women’s Championship in the opening contest. Hail had the Kimura Lock applied on Tiffany but Drew Gulak and Charley Dempsey distracted the referee as Tiffany tapped out. Hail released the lock and Tiffany rolled her up for the win.

After the match, Gulak and Dempsey attacked Hudson. Andre Chase then ran down to the ring and leveled both the men in his return to WWE NXT.
– Gallus (c) defeated Edris Enofé and Malik Blade for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo appeared during the match and he accidentally ended up hitting Enofe. Wolfgang got the tag in as Gallus landed their finisher to secure the win.
WWE Smackdown: Championship Matches And Big Returns Announced For June 30 Episode
– Schism’s Joe Gacy, The Dyad, and Ava Raine had a family meeting that was interrupted by The Creed Brothers. Gacy challenged a match between Creeds and Dyad but with a twist: the losers leave WWE NXT. The match was thereafter announced for next week.
– Nathan Frazer (with Yulisa Leon) (c) defeated Dragon Lee (with Valentina Feroz) to retain the WWE NXT Heritage Cup. Frazer win the match with the score being 2-1 in his favor before the clock ran out.
WWE NXT Results (27/06/23): Gigi Dolin vs. Kiana James
– Gigi Dolin defeated Kiana James in the next match. James landed a kick and wanted to use her purse but the referee stopped her. Dolin delivered a Crucifix Bomb for the pin to win. After the match, James attacked Dolin with the purse and poured paint on her.
WWE NXT Results (27/06/23): Carmelo Hayes Retains
– In the main event, Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) (c) defeated Baron Corbin to retain his WWE NXT Championship. Corbin set up for End of Days, but Hayes escaped the gold and sent Corbin’s face bouncing off the top rope. He then went to the top and came off with the Nothing But Net finisher for the pin to win. The show went off the air with Bron Breakker coming off the gorilla position with some sort of proposition that will be revealed, next week.
