WWE Raw after WrestleMania 39 was held a night after in the same city of Los Angeles after the WWE PLE was wrapped up from the SoFi Stadium. After the Showcase of Immortals turned out to be a show to remember for ages, WWE’s weekly edition didn’t disappoint, at all. The main event was unique and also included quite a surprise.

Roman Reigns’ Special Counsel Paul Heyman took the microphone and told Rhodes that could have a tag team partner if the man who would answer the call will also agree to never get another shot at Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Championship as long as he is the champion. The choice was perfect as Brock Lesnar came out who already got the final shot at Reigns’ title at SummerSlam 2022.

Brock Lesnar destroyed Cody Rhodes on WWE Raw main event segment
With Lesnar accepting to compete in the match, the huge tag team match was made official in the main event capacity of WWE Raw. The unlikely team of Rhodes and Lesnar was scheduled to take on Sikoa and Reigns in a tag team match which was supposed to be Lesnar’s first tag team match in over 20 years and his first match on Raw since 2002. Rhodes and Lesnar made their entrance after which the latter turned on his partner with a brutal attack to destroy him in the ring. Then beatdown also continued at ringside making things worse for The American Nightmare.
The beating was wrapped up as Brock Lesnar planted Rhodes with an F5 through the announce table. Then WWE Official Adam Pearce and other staff from the production came out to stop Lesnar but the damage was already done. The Beast Incarnate then ended WWE Raw with one final F5 on the steel ring steps in the middle of the ring and thereby indicating that the monstrous heel version is back taking over his recent happy-go-lucky persona.
