Vince McMahon and Co are constantly up to presenting new shows apart from the two mainstay shows, WWE Raw and Smackdown. More shows around these two weekly episodes keep the viewers invested in the WWE programming to a big extent. Social media also plays a big influence nowadays to keep a program trending long after it’s been over.
WWE already has a lot of programming on the air as it seems that two more shows are on the way those will revolve around WWE Raw and Smackdown. Fans obviously haven’t been demanding more shows given so much weekly wrestling is available, these days. But then with the WWE Network/Peacock merger, it only makes sense that McMahon’s company is dedicated to offering more diverse programming.

As per a report from Ringside News, two new shows are seemingly on the way to WWE programming. The company has recently filed copyrights for “SmackDown Breakdown” and “RAW Rebound”, as of September 29th. Those seem to be filed to be transformed into two new shows to be added to an already packed schedule of contents that WWE TV has to offer.
WWE Raw and Smackdown to receive new shows
Not much details around these upcoming shows are available. At this time the source has just informed that they filed those trademarks under “Entertainment Services” and the filing specifically noted that these will be “a show about professional wrestling.” We assume these two shows will bring out some more fallouts or recaps from the happenings of WWE Raw and Smackdown.
Previously, WWE used to offer episodes of Velocity, Bottomline, Afterburn to run down things from their weekly programming but those got scrapped in the past few years. Perhaps, a couple of them will be refurbished to extend WWE Raw and Smackdown.
In more news to the situation, Jackie Redmond has just been hired as co-host of WWE Raw Talk and Talking Smack. She has already started making appearances and we have to wonder whether she will be used in the upcoming shows in due course. For now, the new employee offered the following in an official press release,
“As someone who grew up on Stone Cold Stunners and Rock Bottoms, I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am to join WWE. There is nothing quite like the WWE Universe and I am so grateful for the opportunity to engage with the most passionate and dedicated fans in sports entertainment every week on Raw Talk and Talking Smack.”
