ToggleBecky Lynch is someone on the WWE roster who possesses a trustworthy work ethic which is the reason why she’s been elevated into a top superstar. There was a point when she broke into the top 10 list of highest-earners in that WWE locker room and there’s a reason behind that. For years, she has scratched and clawed for that spot and she can go to any level to retain the spot.
Having reached the main-event level and being the first-ever women’s Wrestlemania main-event winner, the hunger for more is there in Becky Lynch which continuously motivates her to go for more. But things do not always turn out to be in her favor. Even last year, she admittedly had to fight for a spot at Summerslam.

Becky Lynch often complained about WWE neglecting women’s division
WWE has received negative criticism for not giving proper attention to the women’s division over the past couple of years. A lot of fans believe that Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley for the Smackdown Women’s Title should have been the main event match at WrestleMania 39 Night One which wasn’t the case. This is not the only time that WWE has willingly neglected to avoid women.

Becky Lynch had to fight for her Summerslam 2022 match
It seems that the huge SummerSlam match between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Title almost didn’t happen, last year. In the opening contest of the Biggest Event of the Summer, Belair retained her title by pinning Big Time Becks in a 15-minute encounter that wasn’t slated to go down, in reality.
While speaking to Stephen A. Smith on Know Mercy, Becky Lynch dropped this surprising information, and that there would have been “a problem” regarding the match,
“At SummerSlam, had to fight a little bit to get a women’s title match on the show. When Logan Paul has a match and Pat McAfee has a match, and Seth Rollins doesn’t have a match, he’s been working all year.
Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair almost didn’t have a match, that’s a bit of a problem. Personally, and from a work ethic standpoint, you put all of this effort into this, all year round, and when the big shows come, the big stadiums come, and there are 80,000 people, you want to receive your flowers for the hard work you put in all year round.”
Becky Lynch also recently voiced frustrations about Logan Paul coming back to WWE and getting the spotlight whenever the big events matter since he doesn’t have to earn the spotlight like her by working 52 weeks in a year. However, that complaint shouldn’t lessen WWE’s tradition to bring in star athletes for bigger PLEs.
