Hypes were bigger than ever for last night’s WWE Raw. The commissioner of the show, Stephanie McMahon returned with a monumental announcement.
Two behemoth superstars engaged in a battle for the Universal title contender’s spot. Plus, the tag team title was also on the line on the episode hosted by the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mr McMahon was standing in the ring to begin this week’s WWE Raw. He welcomed Stephanie McMahon and Triple H to make the historic announcement.
The authorities declared that WWE Women would be part of an all-women PPV called Evolution on October 28th. Women from Raw, Smackdown and NXT will compete in it.
The B-Team was out next to defend their championship. Elias was out to strum his guitar, but Hardy and Wyatt cut him off. These two were rolling, as Hardy hit the Twist of Fate on Axel. But Dallas sent him first into Wyatt creating miscommunication. It allowed to earn him the pinfall win on Hardy.
Sasha Banks and Bayley were all emotional with the all-women PPV event. They had another backstage confrontation, as the GM forced them to team up again. They took on against a team of Samantha Simon and Karen Lunde. Bayley hit a weak knee setting up for the Bank Statement for the win.
Braun Strowman went on to cut a promo on WWE Raw. But Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin came out to help out Strowman’s anger issues. Jinder Mahal appeared to help Strowman with some deep breathing. In reply, Strowman gave a running powerslam to Singh to end the segment.
Constable Baron Corbin forced Finn Balor to change his locker room continuing the bad blood. Later the night, Corbin took on against Drew McIntyre in a singles contest.
Dolph Ziggler interfered to disqualify the match and make it a tag team contest. Rollins became Balor’s partner who was able to connect with the Stomp for the win.
Authors of Pain wanted more competition on WWE Raw, as Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews interrupted. A verbal confrontation broke out that converted into a brawl inside the ring. Mojo Rawley had a rematch against Tyler Breeze and hit the sit-out Alabama Slam for the win.
There was two singles contest from the WWE Raw women’s division. In the first one, Mickie James defeated Natalya. Alexa Bliss provided the distraction allowing Mickie to deliver the Mick Kick for the win. In the other match, Ember Moon blocked a superplex and hit the Eclipse to beat Liv Morgan.
Roman Reigns took on Bobby Lashley in the main event of WWE Raw. Reigns went for the superman punch, but Lashley hit a suplex on him. Later Lashley delivered a spear on Reigns but failed to get the pinfall.
The Big Dog was able to connect a superman punch and followed it up with his pendant spear for the win. Reigns will now face Lesnar at Summerslam.
