Zack Ryder challenged Rusev for his United States title at backstage but got brutally attacked by Sheamus who was just fuming from back to back losses to him. So they ended up being in a match on Raw and this time the Irishman prevailed with a Brogue Kick. A cunning Rusev came down to the ring and accepted the challenge when Ryder was down. Rusev locked the Accolade on Ryder to finish the segment on WWE Raw.
