Wrestlemania 39 season is in full force and like always, it’s not injury free as three top WWE Raw Superstars are out of the card. Besides, names like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin have turned down major matches pitched for them that turned out to be a huge letdown for the WWE Universe. But, WWE still moving ahead with whatever resources they could gather.

Matt Riddle has a huge fan base and he was enjoying some of the biggest moments of his career with Randy Orton before moving away to a hiatus. Despite the controversies around his life, he is considered one of the top superstars of WWE Raw, and fans expected to have a possible WrestleMania moment like in the past couple of years.

Ringside News was recently told that while the WrestleMania plans are falling in place, the WWE Raw Superstar is certainly not a part of the situation. It was also noted that The Original Bro’s return to the squared circle is uncertain. WWE was hopeful that Riddle would make a return by WrestleMania, but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards.

The same situation goes for his former partner with whom he won the WWE Raw tag team championships, Randy Orton. There’s still no confirmed timeline or capacity available regarding his return, as well. According to various sources, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H has no plans for following 3 Superstars at the biggest event of the year,

1. Randy Orton (out of action with a back injury)
2. AJ Styles (out of action with a broken ankle)
3. Matt Riddle (got suspended for violating WWE’s Wellness Policy for the 2nd time)

AJ suffered an ankle injury in late 2022 and he’s since not been seen on WWE Raw. Given the severity of his injury, the expectation is that he’ll miss several months of action before getting medically cleared in the ring.

As for Randy Orton, he’s not been seen on WWE Raw for the past several months due to a back injury. He hasn’t seen in action since May after getting written off WWE programming following a vicious storyline assault by Roman Reigns and The Usos. After this, the veteran had to undergo a lower back fusion surgery, which resulted in major changes in WWE’s creative plans for Summerslam 2022.
