WWE Raw is set to go through yet another season premiere en route to the Crown Jewel 2021 PPV event, ten days from now. Two of the reigning women’s champions will be the headliners of the night as they team up to take on the two current contenders. The reigning WWE Champion is set to confront his current challenger in a face-off segment. The Queen’s Crown and King of the Ring 2021 tourneys will also continue from the show that takes place from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair have been involved in several battles over the past few weeks as they want to prove their dominance over the female roster. In an interesting situation, The Boss and The EST of WWE will have to put their differences aside as they team up against the combined force of WWE Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champions in a huge tag team matchup.
WWE Supersized Smackdown: Brock Lesnar; Sasha Vs. Becky And More Announced
The tag team match comes after Lynch stopped Belair from winning a non-title match over Flair on this past episode of WWE RAW. Banks then attacked both of them while Belair sought retribution on them during this past episode of Smackdown.
During the WWE Draft 2021, Flair and Banks got drafted to the blue brand, while Lynch and Belair were picked up by WWE Raw brand. Those changes will go into effect on the October 22 edition of SmackDown, which is the night after WWE Crown Jewel. On that PPV event, Becky Lynch is booked to defend against Banks and Belair in a Triple Threat. Flair isn’t likely to be a part of a Crown Jewel match, as of this writing.
This Monday’s episode of WWE Raw will also feature a face-to-face segment with Drew McIntyre and WWE Champion Big E. This will provide a build to their title match at WWE Crown Jewel 2021 PPV event. Last week, E responded to McIntyre’s challenge for the WWE Title to set up this fresh co-brand match for the PPV to be hosted in Saudi Arabia.

Over on WWE Raw season premiere, two first-round red brand King of the Ring matches will go down with the lineup being Kofi Kingston vs. Jinder Mahal, and Xavier Woods vs. Ricochet. The winners of these two matches will then face off in the semi-finals during the October 18 episode. The finale of the 2021 KOTR tournament is likely to happen at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 21.
Queen’s Crown 2021: Controversy Around WWE’s Booking Decisions
Same would be the case for the Queen’s Crown tournament that has begun from this past episode of Smackdown. Zelina Vega and Carmella have advanced to the semi-finale of the tourney, already via their respective wins over Toni Storm and Liv Morgan. Now, two first-round Queen’s Crown red brand matches will be Doudrop vs. Natalya, and Shayna Baszler vs. Dana Brooke. The winners of these matches will then do battle in the semi-finals on the October 18 RAW.
