This week’s WWE Raw will continue to heat things up for the inaugural WWE Day 1 event. No official match lineup has been announced for the show but there’re expectations that a new title match could be added to the upcoming PPV. A tournament to determine new challengers for Raw tag titles will continue while Bobby Lashley could also be added to the WWE Title picture when Raw emanates from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

WWE has already announced Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens vs. WWE Champion Big E in a Triple Threat for the inaugural Day 1 pay-per-view. Then on last week’s WWE RAW, Big E defeated Owens in a non-title Steel Cage match, which also had interference from Rollins. After the match, Rollins attacked both the champion and Owens.

However, E recuperated from the attack and made Rollins retreat from the ring. Then Bobby Lashley stormed the ring and took out all three Superstars to make a huge statement. WWE has since been teasing that Lashley could end up earning a spot in the WWE Title match during this coming WWE RAW episode.

“This Monday on RAW: Lashley insists he belongs in the WWE Championship match at WWE Day 1. Will he get his way?” the voiceover from the released promo stated.

In a highly discussed matchup, Becky Lynch retained her WWE Raw Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan. Lynch retained over Morgan via roll-up, using the ropes for leverage for the pin to win. WWE posted a tweet asking fans if Morgan deserves a rematch, a tweet that was re-tweeted by Morgan.

As Lynch cheated her way to win, WWE Official Adam Pearce also indicated that he might have taken this rematch under consideration. There’s no word on when this Morgan vs. Lynch rematch might happen, but it’s obviously being was rumored for the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view on January 1.
