Roman Reigns is currently dealing with the “Cody Rhodes” problem, and next week on WWE Raw, he will look forward to resolving the issue by making a rare appearance. According to Paul Heyman, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will appear, live to comment on his scheduled match against Cody.
On this week’s episode of Raw, Men’s Royal Rumble 2023 winner Cody Rhodes defeated LA Knight in a first-time-ever match with his Cross Rhodes finisher. After the easy win, he took the mic to cut a promo on The Bloodline. Cody talked about how Paul Heyman has told him to stay out of Bloodline’s business as the road to Wrestlemania 39 continues.

Cody said he doesn’t work for The Bloodline and will get involved, in case Sami Zayn needs his help. Cody then said the following to Roman Reigns in a mockery of acknowledging The Tribal Chief,
“I acknowledge you dammit. You need to acknowledge me. I am undefeated.”
A highly emotional Cody said, “I have waited my whole life. I will wait no more” when it comes to winning the greatest prize in sports entertainment. Cody finished his promo by saying that he will pin Roman Reigns, and end his generational run to become the first one in the Rhodes’ clan to hold the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Paul Heyman confirmed Roman Reigns’ Raw return
In response to those comments, Heyman featured in a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley and he was excited about the WrestleMania 39 main event for the undisputed WWE title. “You are a problem that Roman Reigns would love to personally solve,” Heyman stated to confirm that The Head of the Table will indeed appear on Raw.
This will be the second time that Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will come face-to-face ahead of their title match showdown. Their first encounter took place on the March 3 episode of SmackDown. Last week on Smackdown, Cody inserted himself into Jimmy and Jey Uso’s ongoing storyline with Sami Zayn to send The Usos for a retreat.
