The list of injured Superstars from WWE Raw and Smackdown continues to grow as the summer of 2023 approaches closer. Two top female superstars, Liv Morgan and Dakota Kai are out and they would have to go through surgeries, assuring their hiatus to continue for a long time. Added to that list is a former Universal Champion in Braun Strowman who might also be needing surgery to fix himself up.
As we haven’t seen the gigantic superstar in action on WWE Raw over the past couple of weeks, rumors started swirling about his status with the WWE. PWInsider was the first outlet to confirm that Braun Strowman hasn’t been appearing on WWE television because he was in an injured state. At the time of the info, the specifics of his injury weren’t given,
“Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is out of action with an unspecified injury, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Strowman is currently on the disabled list and is not expected back anytime soon. We are told he has been taken off the board when it comes to creative ideas.”

WWE Raw star Braun Strowman visited Alabama for potential surgical procedure
In an update to the earlier news, the same outlet has now informed that the top WWE Raw Superstar could have to undergo the knives for a surgical procedure. If that’s true then he will have to be out of action for a longer period. The source also noted that Strowman was spotted in WWE’s medical facility in Alabama which further confirms the speculations of surgery,
“WWE star Braun Strowman was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday, PWInsider.com has learned. As we reported earlier this week, Strowman is currently out with an undisclosed injury and there was a belief he might require a surgery.”

For those who aren’t aware, Birmingham is the location of the Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center, a very famous orthopedic surgery center. Over the past several years, several WWE Raw and Smackdown talents have had successful surgeries in the facility. We can only hope, Braun Strowman will also have a successful operation procedure so that he could finally return to the squared circle in good health.
Before going out of action, The Monster Among Monsters has been paired up with Ricochet for the past few months. After starting to pick up steam on Smackdown, the duo was picked as a team on the WWE Raw brand during the draft. In his absence, Ricochet has cemented his spot in the Money in the Bank 2023 ladder match.
