Top WWE Raw Superstar AJ Styles is returning to TV, next week as his storyline targeting a Wrestlemania 38 match against Edge is in the pipeline. The 2-time WWE Champion has not been seen since the WWE Hall of Famer snapped on him and turned heel, two weeks ago.
Edge issued a Wrestlemania challenge to WWE Raw locker room and it was AJ to answer it to set up a dream match. Edge accepted the challenge to confirm the match which is now being advertised for Wrestlemania Sunday that is on April 3rd.

Edge proceeded to hit AJ with a low blow and steel chair shots, his pendant Con-Chair-Tos to leave him lying on the mat. WWE later issued a storyline injury update and announced that AJ suffered a severe neck contusion as a result of that attack by Edge.
The Rated-R Superstar then returned to WWE RAW to deliver yet another dark promo with brand new entrance music which was a follow-up from last week’s dark promo. He talked about how he is better than everyone in the industry, and how the Edge that returned in 2020 is now dead.

WWE Raw continued Wrestlemania 38 storyline
Edge added that he returned as a much weaker Edge because he was worried about pleasing the fans who never supported him during the feuds against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Edge finished his promo by promising to judge AJ if he can come back before WrestleMania 38.
Soon after WWE Raw was over, AJ took to Twitter and issued a warning to Edge. In his post, it was revealed that he will be back on next week’s show that is slated to take place at the Allstate Arena near Chicago, Illinois.
“Exercise judgement? Grant mercy? Sitting on a mountain of omnipotence? I don’t know where you got this garbage but one thing I will grant YOU … is fair warning. I’m coming back to #WWERaw next week and you better prepare yourself…stupid haircut, dramatic lighting, and all,” AJ wrote in his statement.
An update about this WWE Raw return was also given on the official website of the company which promises that Edge and AJ Styles should be happening, next week.
