The rivalry between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar reached the height in recent times.

With Wrestlemania just around the corner, the main event scene has heated up with natural bad blood creating between these two marquee names of the WWE Raw brand.

They are all set to lock horns over the Universal Championship. This is going to be the closing match for this year’s Wrestlemania.

It is almost certain that we will crown a new champion by the end of the night on April 8th.

WWE built the beast incarnate as the most dominant force present in the WWE for the past few years.

Well, just for this particular match so that Roman Reigns can prove his potential dethroning him from the title reign.

We should get ready to see another championship coronation on the night of Wrestlemania.

There’re some doubts about Lesnar’s status with the WWE after the biggest event of the year gets over. He might decide not to renew his contract with the WWE and leave after ‘Mania.

Whether it happens or not, it’s almost certain that Roman Reigns will become a four-time champion. Getting the job done against the beast incarnate, he will be in search of a new opponent to defend his title.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave a spoiler alert about the potential contender.

Samoa Joe is the name who could make his surprise return on the WWE Raw after ‘Mania to start the new rivalry. He is now being advertised for live events in UK and Ireland. The opponents pitted against him is none other than the Big Dog of the WWE which is a severe indication of the championship rivalry.

This is going to be the first title feud for the Roman Reigns. He will also have his first run with the WWE Universal Championship, in his career.

The source did note that the plans can change before the creative team finally lock it down. But, this might be the most appropriate and fan-favorite feud that can be arranged on the flagship show, going forward.

Another additional reason was spilled by stillrealtous.com which pointed out why Samoa Joe is the most suitable opponent for Roman Reigns,

“Before Joe was pulled from TV, he was building up a feud with Roman Reigns, and he made it clear that he wanted a shot at the Intercontinental Title when Reigns was the champion. If WWE does decide to go with a Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe feud after Mania, then it should be easy for the two stars to pick up where they left off.”

From the storyline perspective, too, this feud is going to be the very best.

Hence, the chances are pretty high that the two Samoan superstars will fight it out for the Universal title following Wrestlemania 34.
