Royal Rumble to have 40 participants in the Rumble match?
In 2018, WWE introduced the Royal Rumble match for their women’s wrestlers, as well. In both versions, 30 wrestlers generally participate to pick one of the headliner names of Wrestlemania. “There are some talks within WWE that the company may look at doing a 40 Man and 40 Women Rumble. This is a very early pitch but one that has picked up a lot of steam backstage in the past week or two. This however is not confirmed yet.”

In more news for Royal Rumble 2023, WWE’s co-CEO Nick Khan revealed during the Q3 earnings call that they have already made $4.6 million from the PLE’s sold tickets.
According to the reports from Wrestling Observer, this is the second biggest advance in the history of the Royal Rumble event. Going by the current ticket moving, the Royal Rumble 2023 event is going to end up drawing the highest revenue from tickets in the history of this event,
“The Rumble’s got a $4.6 million advance, which is the second biggest of all time for a Rumble, and they’ve still got another 3 months to sell tickets, November, December, and January. So it’ll be the biggest ever.”
