Veteran WWE superstar Big Show is not around the TV for a long time. He had a surprising comeback in late 2018 that lasted for barely a few weeks. The last time he was in a matchup on TV was a tag team match where he aligned with Cesaro and Sheamus in a losing effort against The New Day on a November 2018 episode of SmackDown Live.

Since then, there’s no update on his WWE career. Some do believe that this may be over as he has already spent more than two decades in this industry. His growing age may not let him come back to the pro-wrestling circle, anymore. But the legendary Big Show does not hint so. After uncountable comebacks in his career, he may be gearing up for one more in the near future.

Speaking on the latest episode of The Steve Austin Show, the seven-time World Champion confirmed that he is not a retired wrestler, for sure. Rather he still has high hopes to feature in a match at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020. This show will coincide with the release of his new Netflix series, ‘The Big Show Show’ for which filming process os going on.

Here’s more update on his career in his own words,

“I got cleared a week before ‘Mania [WrestleMania 35], so creative is already done by then. It was a personal goal for me to be ready if they needed me to do anything, but they didn’t. Now I’m doing this show, so that’s why I’m not doing anything now.

Right now, I think we are going to start streaming [The Big Show Show] around WrestleMania next year, so we can tie in promoting the show, promoting WrestleMania, and hopefully I can do something to earn a match at WrestleMania.”

As of now, Big Show has started working on his new Netflix show in Los Angeles from Friday, August 9th onwards. “The Big Show Show” is a live-action multi-camera family comedy series that will run for 10 thirty-minute episodes, also starring Allison Munn and kid actresses Reylynn Caster, Juliet Donenfeld, and Lily Brooks O’Briant.

WrestlingINC.com has revealed that Netflix is now offering free tickets for the show’s tapings on Friday, September 20 and Friday, September 27 at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Tickets for tapings on Friday, October 4 and October 18 will be available soon. So Big Show will be in town for the October 4 SmackDown Fox premiere from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which will also be the SmackDown 20th Anniversary. So he can be in attendance on this special occasion when the B-show starts airing on FOX Network.
