WWE Rumor: Braun Strowman Out Of WWE TLC PPV Event 1
courtesy WWE

The potential main event of WWE TLC from WWE Raw was likely to be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match. Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin was the lineup set with high stakes added to the contest. The latter one is ready to take control of the WWE Raw becoming the permanent general manager of the show. In order to achieve this spot, he will have to win the aforementioned match at the upcoming PPV.

Braun Strowman will also get a huge prize if coming up as the winner of this Sunday’s bout. He will receive a Universal Championship opportunity against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble show. This can be his final chance to pick up the title and go onto headline Wrestlemania 35. So both these superstars seem more than ready to pick up the win which could be the biggest of their career, to date.

Change in plans for WWE TLC after Strowman’s injury

But there’re some concerns over the injury suffered by Braun Strowman. He had a shattered elbow from Baron Corbin’s attack on WWE Raw, three weeks ago. He needed to undergo a surgery in order to heal up the issue. WWE TLC is just less than a week away which is why we are in doubts whether he can make it to the show or not.

Cagesideseats.com came up with a negative update on this situation. They stated that Braun Strowman will not perform at the WWE TLC PPV on Sunday. The monster among men is still trying to recover from the bruises in his elbow. It is understandable that an injury like this takes certain timespan to recover. In this case, the superstar in concern did not even receive full three weeks to get over the shattered elbow.

So this does not come as a surprise at all if WWE doctors do not allow him to compete at WWE TLC. In that case, we should get a backup match in this slot. Baron Corbin wanted to have a forfeit win against Braun Strowman to capture the authoritative spot, permanently. But he should have to earn the rights. Rumors suggest that Bray Wyatt or Kurt Angle can be a replacement for the resident monster of WWE. We might get a clue of the same when WWE Raw goes on air, this week.
