It seems there is no ending to this “retirement” episode regarding the Undertaker. Ever since he had his match against Shane McMahon at this year’s Wrestlemania, a number of rumors were surfaced onto the internet and there’s no stopping to it. Also, it suggests that the tiff between the Undertaker and the chairman of the board, Vince McMahon is gradually increasing rather than getting over.
According to the previous reports that surfaced the internet suggested that Undertaker has informed that the Hell in a Cell match against Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania 32 was going to be his last at the event. He himself too was seen telling people backstage after the mega match that he had competed in his last bout at Wrestlemania. This was the reason why he chose to leave his gloves inside the ring after the fight was over.
Apparently things get worse these days when Vince wanted to reach to the Undertaker to make an appearance with him at Summerslam but did not get any response. The close ones have aware of the fact that Undertaker was not happy when he was asked to lose against Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania. Though he ended up winning the spectacular bout, Shane did steal the spotlight with the jump off the top of the cell.
After refusing to make any appearance, Undertaker was pulled off from a number of shows that has been advertised and then he was replaced on the European tour by Triple H. With the war going between the two of them, Ringside.com also noted that Vince is trying hard to flow the waters under the bridge. But, Undertaker is totally ignoring him. Undertaker’s current contract stands in a manner where he is required to wrestle only once in a year. Even if he is not making any further appearances, he will be paid for the entire year.
If decides not to wrestle next year, his contract is bound to freeze, much like to Daniel Bryan. Within WWE’s contract, they can make him an appearance with him whenever they want, but he decides not to do so, then they have the right to freeze the deal. Hopefully, both the parties can land up on the same page as we want to have the send-off of the Deadman in a proper manner.
