The pro-wrestling scene has never been so much volatile like it is right now. With the emergence of All Elite Wrestling promotion, various names might want to change their employer. Many superstars are reportedly interested to sign a deal with the new brand after leaving WWE. Some of the names are in speculations to leave the brand in due course. We have received another name into the list in the form of former tag team champions.
AJ Styles received a huge offer from AEW
There are some backstage concerns over the contract of The Usos. Their deal will be up in due course. But there’s still no confirmation on whether they would like to stay with the WWE. Rumors have broken out of their exit which seems the most likely thing if they indeed sign elsewhere. It also comes as a pure shocker since these two have been on their prime for the past couple of years.
Sean Ross of Fightful.com published a report on The Usos following Smackdown Live. It sounded concerns over the Samoan Twins’ WWE status in the near future. He suggested that it appears that the former Tag Team Champions may not renew their contracts once they expire. However, it is still unknown it will actually happen. So there are no apparent dates when their departure can happen.
He added that the backstage concern is quite high over The Usos. He could not reveal when the contract expiry could happen. But the officials might be worried about these two veterans willing to quite the WWE in due course. Here’s more on the topic,
“I heard there has been some concern that they may not re-sign. Now, I don’t know when their deal is up but I just heard there is some concern that they might not re-sign. That doesn’t mean they are going to AEW but it means that there is just some concern,”
The Usos have been in the WWE for over a decade. They have been a five-time tag team champions creating their own legacy. They also belong to the same family as The Rock and Roman Reigns believe. So we could hardly expect to see these two away from their home. As you can see, joining AEW is also not the issue for The Usos. It is also not clear whether they are unhappy with their current WWE Deal.
