Brock Lesnar successfully defended his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns. This match took place on two different occasions.
The beast incarnate was successful at both Wrestlemania and Greatest Royal Rumble event. The outcome was controversial at the GRR event though.
We do know that there’re doubts whether Brock Lesnar won in a fair way in Saudi Arabia. It was a steel cage match where Roman Reigns hit the mat first. The referee did not see it and predicted the champion to be the winner. It helped him to retain the championship unfairly.
It does not mean the championship will be on the line one more time. Roman Reigns will not receive another chance to go for the title. The authority has made it clear he will not get any further chance to compete in a title match shortly. It let the champion to be on a long hiatus.
Previous updates speculated Brock Lesnar might be back onboard after MITB PPV is over. He was about to start a new build up for the Extreme Rules event in July. But that is not going to be the scene. The Conqueror will continue to enjoy his off-time from the WWE.
The recent reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed Brock Lesnar would appear at Summerslam next. He is going to be the main event of the show for the fifth time in a row. But this is not official yet. WWE is to make the next championship planning around him. We will know his next opponent when the PPV season arrives.
Another speculation around Brock Lesnar is his UFC comeback. If he wishes to return, then he’d have to test his samples through USADA. We do know this organization suspended him for negative test results back in 2016. So the return to the Octagon depends on this result.

“If Brock doesn’t apply to enter the testing pool by that date, then he’s likely staying with WWE, but if he does apply then that could be an indication that he’s leaving to be a part of UFC’s New Year’s weekend show.”
