WWE Rumour: Hulk Hogan Has Been Approached To Be The Brand Ambassador Of The WWE 1

Hulk Hogan reappearing in the WWE has been speculated among the fans for a long time now. Ever since the Wrestlemania 33 weekend, the immortal one is rumoured to be back in his roots to the WWE. But, that might get delayed due to the Paige media controversy, at that point.

In case you don’t know, the legend was disassociated with all the contents from the WWE following a video scandal which witnessed him uttering some racist words to a woman. A case was filed against him by the Gawker media house for the same and WWE was forced remove all his mentions from the company, immediately.

But, eventually, the former franchise of the company was able to prove himself innocent after winning the case proving every accusations right and the video footage to be a false one. He was given a handsome amount of money by the media house upon the closing of the case. Ever since then, his return to the WWE looks imminent.

In recent times, Dave Meltzer claimed that WWE is seriously considering to bring him back with them, as soon as possible. Vince McMahon is keen to make him the brand ambassador of the company like Shawn Michaels.

The veteran journalist also claimed that there have been some constant talks with the two parties over the matter. The discussion has also seen a positive outcome, so far which let Hulk Hogan himself telling to the media that he is in talks with The Boss to represent the company, sooner.

The company is conscious of the fact that bringing Hulk Hogan back might cause Backlash among the fans. When it comes to racism, WWE is extremely sensible. This is the reason why the former franchise of the company was not brought back for this year’s Wrestlemania. He was present in Orlando, Florida for his shop’s opening on that weekend.

WWE has already introduced Hogan with “Bring it to the Table” program on the WWE Network where JBL mentioned that what happened with Hogan was indeed unfortunate. Here’s his full statement:

“What happened on this tape, I think, it was horrible. I think it was, I can’t say if it was a one-off or not, but he was punished. He was punished and he was punished severely.
He’s going to be hounded about that tape the rest of his life and I think that’s enough. I think he’s an icon and I think he’s welcome back. I would like to see him back in the WWE.”
