More than two weeks remaining from Survivor Series 2020 edition, WWE will be presenting another weekly episode of Smackdown. Builds for the PPV event will be the focal point of the show while a solid main event has already been confirmed. The Women’s Championship will be hanging in the balance in a rematch from Hell in a Cell 2020. Plus, the romantic angle between Aalyah Mysterio and Murphy may continue to unfold when Friday’s hottest show airs from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Sasha Banks has just captured the Smackdown Women’s Title from Bayley, ending the historic run of the latter. As she claims to be a fighting champion, a title defense awaits within just a couple of weeks. This might be the chance for her to get rid of her nemesis, once and for all.

As declared by WWE.com, The Legit Boss will be defending her newly won belt in a rematch against the self-proclaimed role model of WWE,

“In the wake of her epic Hell in a Cell Match against Bayley, The Boss must defend the SmackDown Women’s Title in a rematch against her former best friend turned bitter rival.

Bayley claimed Sasha doesn’t know how to retain championships after winning them. Will Banks prove her wrong and go on to face Raw Women’s Champion Asuka in a Champion vs. Champion Match at Survivor Series? Or will next week simply be the start of a historic new reign for The Role Model?”

Survivor Series 2020: Will Any WWE Titles Change Hand Before The PPV?

In a Survivor Series Qualifying Match, Daniel Bryan battled Jey Uso to cement his PPV spot, with Roman Reigns watching at ringside. Uso prevailed while landing a couple of Superkicks followed by the pendant Frogsplash. But he went furious while falling in line with The Tribal Chief of the WWE Universe. As a result, Bryan received a vicious beatdown from Uce that could be indicating a future feud. If Bryan returns with a vengeance, he could likely target Reigns and his Universal Title.

After weeks of trying to rectify his mistakes and make things right with the Mysterio family, Murphy finally decided to make a truce with them. But Seth Rollins interfered to create further tensions among them that led to physicality between them. Rey Mysterio wanted Aalyah Mysterio to leave the side of Murphy but that wasn’t the case. Aalyah professed her love to the former disciple of Rollins by planting a kiss on him. There must be a consequence to this angle as Rey didn’t take it, lightly at all.

Kevin Owens defeated Dolph Ziggler to qualify for the SmackDown Survivor Series Men’s Team while Bianca BeLair toppled Billie Kay and Natalya in a Triple Threat to be the first member of the female team. More names will be added to the lineups as Raw almost filled up their side. We expect at least a couple of more qualifiers will go down on tonight’s show at the ThunderDome.
