Six days removed from the historic Crown Jewel PPV event, WWE Smackdown will present its next edition with a historic title match on the card. Plus, a World Cup Tournament will also begin during the November 11 episode that takes place at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

WWE Smackdown: Match Announced To Determine Ronda Rousey’s New Challenger

Last week on WWE Smackdown, it was announced that The New Day – Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will challenge, next for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles, facing the winner of The Usos vs. Brawling Brutes title match which was scheduled for this past Saturday’s Crown Jewel premium live event.

Since The Usos ended up retaining their tag team titles against The Brutes, it’s been officially announced that Woods and Kingston will be facing The Usos on the November 11 episode of WWE SmackDown with their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles on the line.

This is going to be a historic bout on WWE Smackdown since if The Usos are victorious then they will be the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions by surpassing the previous record set by The New Day. It was in December 2016, that Woods and Kingston along with Big E set the record for the longest WWE Tag Team Championship reign at 483 days. At the time of setting the record, they were holding the Raw Tag Team Championships.

The Usos became WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions on July 18, 2021, after defeating The Mysterios at Money in the Bank. Almost a year later, they became the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions by defeating then-Raw Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Matt Riddle in a Winners Take All Title Unification Match on the May 20 episode of the blue brand.
