On an exceptional night of WWE Smackdown that takes place on FS1 instead of FOX, Roman Reigns will return to be the headliner ahead of his match against Logan Paul. Ronda Rousey will also be in attendance to throw an Open Challenge for her title.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will next be defending his title against Logan Paul. During a Las Vegas press conference, WWE Chief Content officer Triple H made that match official for the Crown Jewel pay-per-view that’s a week away from now.
As the PPV from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia inches closer on November 5, the storyline is likely reaching an extreme point with Roman Reigns being confirmed for an appearance on this week’s WWE SmackDown. This appearance comes after an absence of two weeks and at a point when Logan Paul has been plugging in his preparations for the biggest match of his career.
Last week, Paul returned to WWE SmackDown to cut a promo and encounter The Bloodline. Jey Uso tried to attack Paul from behind and achieve success momentarily before Paul knocked him out with a stiff punch to the face. Paul is apparently using the recent differences between The Bloodline members and The Tribal Chief is likely to address the issue.

WWE Smackdown Preview (28/10/22): Ronda Rousey puts her title on the line
Liv Morgan put the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line against Ronda Rousey in an Extreme Rules match at the Extreme Rules premium live event. Heading into the match, she had already defeated the UFC Hall of Famer, twice, to achieve the first-time-ever accolade.
Liv won the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and cashed in on Ronda on the same night. Then at SummerSlam, Morgan defeated Ronda once again at Summerslam but it occurred via a controversial finish. At Extreme Rules, Liv vowed to prove to Ronda that she could go to an extreme level and beat her for the title. But Ronda Rousey tapped her out with an innovative submission to become a two-time WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
After the win, Rousey confirmed that she’s become a heel after digesting negative heat from the fans, time and time again. But just because she is confident in her abilities, she will put the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line for the first time since winning it at Extreme Rules where anyone from the roster can answer to it.

An ongoing feud will continue on WWE SmackDown when Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Top Dolla will pick a mystery partner to collide in a Six-Man Tag Team Match against Legado del Fantasma members Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro.
Legado Del Fantasma returned to WWE TV and thereby made their WWE SmackDown debut with Zelina Vega acting as their new manager to target Hit Row with a vicious attack. Adonis, Top Dolla, and B-Fab are ecstatic about getting retribution but first, they’ll have to choose the right partner to even the number’s game.
In the opening contest of WWE SmackDown, last week, Solo Sikoa defeated Sheamus in a singles contest after The Usos and Sami Zayn provided constant interference. Then after the match, Zayn and Usos pounced on the former WWE Champion for a vicious attack. Sheamus was visibly injured and taken to the hospital after injuring his hands.
Now, after The Bloodline’s attack on Sheamus, his Brawling Brutes buddies Butch and Ridge Holland will be out for payback on WWE SmackDown. They’re being advertised to take on Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn in a tag team matchup to amp things up in the ongoing beef.
