The go-home episode of SmackDown for WWE TLC took place last night where the challenger of the Universal Title was expected to send back a message to Roman Reigns. A title was on the line while Bayley vs Bianca Belair was also on the card. Plus, a strange award ceremony was supposed to go down at the Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay, Florida. Check out the results,
Kevin Owens opened the show as he straight-up wanted to face Roman Reigns. Instead, he got Paul Heyman on the tron and wasn’t happy about it. He went backstage and knocked Reigns’ locker room but then we heard Reigns coming out to the ring with Heyman by his side. Owens ran down but got attacked by Jey Uso on the ramp. Uso and Reigns beat the hell out of Owens to finish the segment.

SmackDown Tag Team Titles Match was the opening contest of the night with the lineup of Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler vs. The Street Profits. Ziggler hit a Fame-asser on Dawkins but missed a Superkick. Dawkins hit the Cash Out Powerbomb and tagged Ford who missed the Frogsplash. Suddenly, Roode tagged in went for a roll-up win but Ford countered it and picked up the win.
