Coming off the world of mixed martial arts, Ronda Rousey surprised everyone with her easy-going transformation into a professional wrestler. While her presence is more than enough to draw mainstream attention to WWE television, her incredible in-ring agility never fails to impress the WWE Universe.

Back in the 2010s, Ronda Rousey used to be one of the most well-known names to make her way into the world of combat sports. Not only that, but she also revitalized things in a world that was only supposed to be dominated by men. Down the road, she continues to sharpen her skills and become more comfortable in her current role as a top WWE Superstar.

After returning to the WWE during Royal Rumble 2022, Ronda Rousey was engaged in a feud with Charlotte Flair that led her to her maiden WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship win. She successfully defended against the likes of Raquel Rodriguez and Natalya in a short-term feud on the blue brand before moving on to a major feud against an uprising female WWE superstar in Liv Morgan.

Ronda Rousey loves to put over new WWE talents

While speaking on her Ronda on the Road series on YouTube, Ronda Rousey claimed that she has the privilege of choosing her own opponents in WWE,

“I’m spoiled in that I get to pick who I want to work with like, ‘Hey I think this person’s awesome and has a lot of potential. I want to really, like, put this person over and have people see how great they are.”

Since dropping the Smackdown Women’s Championship to Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank, Ronda Rousey was engaged in a bitter feud with her. The two had a rematch at Summerslam where Morgan retained due to the referee’s bad decision.

Then at WWE Extreme Rules, The Baddest Woman on the Planet challenged Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in an Extreme Rules match. Using all her previous experience in such a hardcore environment, Ronda Rousey defeated Morgan to become the new champion and an overall three-time champion in the WWE.

The bonafide WWE Superstar already featured in top feuds against the top names that WWE has to offer. However, the mega singles match against Becky Lynch is still due. That match is being rumored for Wrestlemania 39.
