It was recently announced that Ronda Rousey was fined and suspended and thus got banned from appearing on WWE Smackdown. This happened due to her actions at SummerSlam. After losing to Liv Morgan in a SmackDown Women’s Championship match, she put her hands on the referee after the latter failed to make the right decision around the pin-fall count. WWE did not disclose the length of the storyline punishment announcement.
However, reports claimed that Rousey was never expected to miss too much time as she was always booked to compete in a match at the Clash at the Castle premium live event scheduled for September 4. Indicating that those reports are correct, she appeared on WWE Smackdown in an effort to possibly get rid of the suspension.

During last night’s WWE Smackdown episode, Ronda Rousey entered through the crowd when she wasn’t originally announced for the show. Rousey took one of the mics and addressed what she was doing out there.

Ronda Rousey took out the security team on WWE Smackdown
Despite acting as a heel, the WWE Smackdown audience cheered on Ronda Rousey as she unzipped the bag and dumped a bunch of cash onto the table. She then continued to say that this won’t probably be the last time suspension for her because “being the worst is expensive.” She apparently also noted how she opted to double the amount that was originally demanded by the WWE.
Security guards and backstage officials then headed to the ring as they tried to escort out Rousey from the ring. Rousey then met them on the floor and hip-tossed one of the female security guards. Rousey teased applying the armbar but then Shayna Baszler came out and told her that she has to go by the rules of the WWE.
Rousey then told Baszler that she used to be a killer before heading backstage. Afterward, the WWE Smackdown Women’s title match contract signing segment between Morgan and Baszler went down.
Per the reports of Wrestling Observer Radio, Ronda Rousey is still expected to compete at Clash at the Castle. It’s possible that the stadium event in Cardiff might see a Triple Threat in Rousey vs. Shayna vs. Morgan for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Title.
