The main event saga of Summerslam 2023 witnessed Roman Reigns squaring off with Jey Uso in the main event match. Jey almost did the unthinkable of pinning his cousin, twice in back-to-back premium live events if not it was for the return of his own brother Jimmy Uso who turned heel and cost Jey the title.
Thus in the final match of Summerslam 2023 which was Tribal Combat for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and The Tribal Chief Spot, Roman Reigns defeated Jey Uso to still remain the reigning champion. Solo Sikoa was obviously present at ringside to help Roman out in the match.

There was a point when in the match at Summerslam 2023 where Solo delivered two Spinning Solo moves to Jey. Roman and Solo went for their double-team finishing move, but Jey pulled Solo as Roman accidentally spear-ed Sikoa in the ring.
After putting Solo through an announce table with a Splash, Jey put down Roman with a Spear and Frogsplash. Jey went for the cover, but a mystery man pulled Jey out of the ring and that man was revealed to be none other than Jimmy Uso.

Usos begin new feud at WWE Summerslam
Jimmy seemingly turned heel on his brother and WWE commentator Michael Cole was stunned in commentary as well as the fans who started chanting “F**k you, Jimmy”. Jimmy superkick-ed Jey and put him back in the ring. Roman was confused but he eventually put Jey through a Table set up in the ring to pick up the pin-fall win at Summerslam 2023.
On the road to Summerslam 2023, Jimmy Uso took a brutal beatdown from Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa to get sidelined from TV. Jey Uso took the opportunity to avenge his brother’s beatdown by facing and taking out Roman Reigns at the biggest event of the summer. So, the assumption was that Jimmy will return to help his brother.
However, WWE has booked this heel-turn for Jimmy to introduce a new character which should now commence a new program between him and Jey now that Summerslam 2023 is over. The WWE Universe has long been waiting for a singles feud featuring the two Uso brothers and it’s seemingly happening in WWE from this week onward.
